Montrose Locksmith & Security Intercoms is a mobile locksmith and intercom company based in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We came into this trade through entry systems: the panels, buzzers and door releases that decide who gets into a building. Locks, rekeys, lockouts and door repair grew from there.
Our work is the housing north and central Brooklyn actually has: walk-ups with a single street door, converted lofts, divided brownstones, rowhouses and small shops. We work from the Montrose Avenue area out to Williamsburg, Bushwick, Greenpoint and beyond.
How we operate
Price before work
You get a clear price on site and nothing starts until you agree to it. If the job turns out different once we open it up, we stop and talk first.
Diagnose, then quote
A dead buzzer or a stuck door usually has one failing part. We find it before suggesting a replacement system.
Repair before replace
Older hardware often has years left in it. We replace what has failed, and tell you plainly when a full replacement is the better value.
No promises we can't keep
We do not quote arrival times we cannot hold. You hear an honest estimate when you call.
