What happens when you call
You describe the door and the address. We tell you what we expect the job to involve and head over. On arrival we ask for ID matching the address, a lease or a super who can confirm you belong there. Then you get a clear price on site, and nothing starts until you agree to it.
Opening without damage
Most apartment and house doors can be opened without harming the lock, and that is always the first thing we try. A seized or already-damaged cylinder is different, and sometimes drilling is the only way in. If that is the case, we say so before we do it and replace the cylinder right away.
After the door is open
If you lost your keys, it is worth rekeying the lock the same visit so the old keys stop working. If the lock was damaged, we repair it so you are not locked out again the next day. Either can be done on the same call.

Yes. Tell us if there is a super or landlord we should contact as well. We will check who can confirm you live there.
Can you open a door if I cannot prove I live here?
We need some proof, such as ID, a lease or a person who can vouch for you. We only open doors for the people who belong behind them.
